JoAnn Falletta, conductor of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has written about Lee’s Symphony No.1 Montage and it’s score: ”I listened and found it to be a really beautiful work! I’m happy to have it and look forward to studying it.”
This 8 minute Suite was made in 2015 from the original 30 minute Symphony No.1 that premiered in 1988. This score features the original improvised violin solo by Mark Feldman transcribed and arranged for the violin section of the orchestra.
Each Scene retains the bar numbers of the original Symphony.. This enables parts for the Suite to be made by editing the original parts. See “Symphony No.1 – parts".
